NK Osijek has signed four new young players, including Miloš Jovičić and Mateo Bačić. Jovičić, Krešimir Vrbanac, Matej Grahovac, and Bačić are the new members of the club. Jovičić and Bačić signed as free agents, while Vrbanac and Grahovac extended their contracts with the club. NK Osijek is looking to strengthen for the new HNL season, which has already started. The club currently occupies 10th place in the league table with two points. Andrija Balajić, the coach of NK Osijek, stated that he is satisfied with the new reinforcements. Miloš Jovičić is a left-wing attacker and U-19 representative of Croatia who is a product of Osijek's youth school. Last summer, he went to TSC from Bačka Topola, where he played 26 games in the junior team, scoring seven goals and two assists. Mateo Bačić is a 194-centimeter-tall attacker who passed through the youth schools of Zadar and Hajduk and played for Sampdoria in the Italian Primavera last year. Bačić has already played minutes in the SuperSport HNL, when he played for Hajduk in a 5:2 win over Lokomotiva at the end of the 2023/24 season. NK Osijek will visit Lokomotiva on Sunday, where they will try to achieve their first win of the season.
